Chicago’s Pride Films and Plays ‘utilizes stories with GLBT characters or themes and creates powerful theatrics and films that speak for the community and are essential viewing for all audiences.’  Pride Films and Plays, founded in 2010, has already established itself as a leader in the Chicago arts scene.  Come get to know the company that the Huffington Post recently called “a powerful and empowering entity.”

The evening will start with a mix and mingle (7:00PM-7:30PM) with Pride Films and Plays’ artistic team followed by a brief welcome and chat with Executive Director David Zak.  Then, the evening’s main event will feature several live performances and sneak peeks at their upcoming season, including musical performances from The Boy from Oz and scenes from Design for Living!

You don’t want to miss this evening of arts and entertainment as we get to know one of Chicago’s great theater companies!
